PS. AFTER FACING REALITY OF THE SUDDEN INTEREST FROM THE
CRATE SPRINTS I WILL ALLOW THEM TO USE THE LARGE AMERICAN RACER TIRES ON THE REAR along with the normal AR. fronts
All tires for next season will be AMERICAN RACERS.

Well, some Tues. thoughts a week late after coming down just enough after another awesome night of racing, this one at Corrigan Oil Speedway. Our point leader and eventual Champion Quintin Saayman was leading at lap 30 but somebody (me) had to have a 40 lapper and AJ Lesiecki put together the drive of the year passing Quintin with three laps to go in his Super Mod. WHAT A RACE. Thanks to all 16 participants.
Another happy racer is Jeff Bloom, after battling car trouble for three years he found the problem and ran well and finished his first race in years.
Probably the happiest person that night was Walt Obrinske. He went with Geo. and I to Owosso to test our rental car and that's where his permanent smile started as he was instantly hooked on sprint cars so the next day he came to pick the car up to take to Corrigan. and proceeded to Qualify 7th, won his heat race and ran as high as 2nd and finished 4th with brake problems.
Our banquet will be at Dave and Dora Howes Beacon Sales and Service in Charlotte in early January. I like breaking up the winter with a party.
So, the main change for 2027 is ALL cars including Supers will be on the NARROW American Racer tires and will pay $2000 to win and $1500 for 2nd, $1400 and $100 less per spot to $500 to start and be competetive.
