Stallion Survivors

We made our 2023 Season debut today! Finished 2nd overall at the Summer Open. We thought we had that Finals but couldn’t close out games and dropped the series 3-1. For Jon, it’s his second 2nd place finish on the season!

While it wasn’t quite the turnout we were hoping for, we still had a great time playing pretty competitive teams! Thanks again to for a great discflect tournament!

All matchups were a Best of 3 series and we finished 4-2 for matchups (14 games total with a 9-5 record including 8 OT games!), with Jon throwing 1 win slot during the final series.

A little late, but an update from Worlds: We took second place at the 2022 PDFA Discflect World Championship! Came as close as you can get. Made it to Game 7 in the best of 7 Pro Finals, but ultimately lost to Young Guns. But what an epic Finals for the ages! Photos at https://www.pdfa.com/media-2022worlds/

SLY FOX BEER Sept 25th! 👀

First tourney of 2020! The Lockport Winter Jam was more of a wet one this year, but ultimately it was fun and for a good cause. After winning the first 4 games, we faced off against our buddies Matteson Bros in the Winner’s Bracket Finals. We lost that one 25-24 in a close game (yes, games are to 25 in this tourney), sending us to the loser’s bracket. We won the next one, and got to the finals of the loser’s bracket. We were thrilled at that point that all 3 of our teams made it to the end. We faced off against Josh & Kim M, beating them to get to the Finals.

In the Finals, since we came from the loser’s bracket, we had to beat Mattesons twice. Conditions were tough on both teams, but we were able to win both games to win the tournament for the 3rd time in 4 years (and now 2 in a row). Overall Record of 8-1. All in all, it was a fun time and we’re happy to participate again alongside our friends to raise money for a great cause (MS).

The 15th Season of the Buffalo Kan Jam League kicked off this past weekend. Both Jon and Eric represented Stallion Survivors well. Jon finished 15-1 with 3 perfect games for the 1st place finish while Eric came in 2nd place with a 13-3 record and an insane 8 perfect games!

We haven't posted final results from the majors this year (it always tough when it's game time), but here's an update for 2019 on all the KanJam events we competed in, both official and unofficial:

Winter Jam - January: 1st place, overall record 6-0
Buffalo random draw league - November through March: Eric 2nd place (110-66), Jon 6th place (98-78)
2019 KanJam Klassic - May: 3rd place (27-6)
KanJam for WNYHeroes - July: 2nd place (16-4)
2019 KanJam World Championship - August: 2nd place (37-7)
