Unfortunately, Custom build projections do not have a 100% guaranteed time table. Sometimes you can’t get parts from overseas, sometimes the rare parts that you need aren’t available, sometimes the threads on a bicycle are completely gone and it becomes a safety issue. That must be dealt with. There are so many variables that I try and estimate a proper forecast for. Some projections for the completion of Custom built bicycles, here at Vintage Fixie just dont go as planned. This little old orange Peugeot has been one of those victims unfortunately, it’s been waiting for its proper components for quite some time and I just want to thank the customer for sticking with us….believing and seeing the true horizon on giving this Bicycle a brand new life. Next week we get to install a Campagnolo crankset, a mavic 700c wheelset, panaracer 700c wheels, shimano thumb shifters, grips and finally get to put this thing together. It will be well worth the wait Bill!
