Anne M. Lauren is learning, with Human Horse Sensing, how we can communicate with horses by giving our movement a meaning that horses understand instinctively. She helped me during a training session and took Luca, a Friesian mare to a corral and swapped her with Skye Mama, a Friesian QH mare without having to use a halter and lead. Their interaction was very cooperative and on target. This is what we can immediately achieve by switching our communication with horses from spoken cues to meaningful movement.

La scorsa settimana si è svolta qui a Predarezzo una giornata con Alessandra Deerinck. È raro trovare persone che abbiano questo tipo di approccio in libertà con i cavalli e bisogna fare tesoro di ogni possibilità di confronto insieme. Per me è stato bellissimo lasciarle le mie cavalle e vederle interagire in modo spontaneo con lei . Spero ci saranno altre occasioni, intanto, Alessandra , aspettiamo il tuo libro tradotto in italiano!!

HUMAN HORSE SENSING

At Human Horse Sensing we live by our words. Our horsemanship is formulated to be taught, and is applied in the same manner as it is written. We offer instruction about horse training, and take horses in training from starting, or retraining to showing or competing. What sets us apart from traditional horsemanship is the confidence and attitude that human and horse assume after working with this approach.

As a rider, veterinarian and trainer I rode in flat racing, jumping, dressage, endurance and parades, working with thousands of horses, who inspired me to formulate a method through which human and horses work together without force and fear.

What I love most about my work is when people have their magic moment making Human Horse Sensing their own, and discovering how easy it is to relate to horses.

Many tell me they become able to communicate with their horse like they were their best friends, even in difficult tasks, and never want to leave this space.
