Back on the fields for our first local tournament of the 13u season. Let’s go boys! 💙⚾️💙

The boys went back to Grand Park for the third year in a row to start the season. We decided to play D1 after playing D2 at 12U and D3 at 11U. D1 at 13U is quite a change and it seems like boys became grown men overnight.
Our boys fought hard to earn a walk-off win early Saturday before getting game 2 rained out. Based on our one win, we grabbed the number 2 seed… against the same team we walked off a day before. In a second display of resilience, we walked them off 2 days in a row and earned a spot in the championship against one of the best teams in Indiana. We hung tough for a few innings of the championship but the number 1 seed was too much for us to take.
The boys showed grit and toughness playing in cold wet windy conditions against some big boys from Indiana and Michigan. Looking forward to building on the progress!
