Pack your park blanket and your favorite book, grab a DORA beverage and snack from a local business, and meet us on the Village Green Sunday June 7, 11:00am-1:30am. Read on the Green will feature a community book swap (bring some take some), reading in community, and Delaware County District Library will be there to make signing up for a library card a cinch. Not sure there is anything better!
So simple it may be confusing. Come read in the park with your friends and neighbors. No assigned reading. No pressure. ALL are welcome. All book formats encouraged. Always free.
Here's to community, quiet pages, and the comfort of belonging.

Today we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to Pat Parren, better known to so many of our little ones as “Grandma Pat” for her countless hours of volunteer service with the City of Powell Parks & Recreation RecSchool and Parents Morning Out programs. ❤️

Grandma Pat has brought so much love, kindness, patience, and joy to our youngest participants this school year. From helping hands to warm hugs and smiling faces, she has made a lasting impact on so many children and families in our community.

We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done to help make our early education programs such a special place. Thank you, Grandma Pat, for sharing your heart with Powell Parks & Recreation! 💚
