I can confirm, as the manager of Rocking DD Ranch and the only legal boarding facility in Coyote Springs, that we did have one confirmed case of strangles arrive over a month ago.

The horse had traveled from Texas with a valid health certificate and current Coggins but subsequently presented with signs of infection.
In accordance with our biosecurity protocols, the horse was immediately isolated upon arrival and managed appropriately. The diagnosis was confirmed by a local veterinarian, and strict measures were implemented to protect the health of the remaining horses on the property.

We are pleased to report that no other horses at the facility were affected. The horse has since recovered, and Rocking DD Ranch currently has no known cases of strangles. The facility remains healthy, operational, and clear of any active infections.

The health and well-being of the horses in our care will always remain our top priority, and we will continue to follow recommended veterinary and biosecurity practices to maintain a safe environment for our boarders and their horses.
