Martha began teaching in 2003, while living in Okinawa, Japan. Earned certifications with NESTA Sport Yoga & Sadhana Yoga Chi. In addition she went on to earn certifications as a
Pre-Postnatal Yoga Instructor, and completed Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in Tokyo, Japan. While there she also became an ACE certified Personal Trainer, Fitness instructor and Health Coach. In 2007 she completed her 500hr RYT certification in Yoga Therapy at the Ananda Seva Mission in Santa Rosa, CA. She is also certified in Thai Yoga Therapy through The White Lotus Yoga Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA and Thai Yoga Massage through The Thai Traditional School of Medicine at Wat Po in Bangkok, Thailand. Martha continued to develop her personal and professional practice by studying with many of today’s modern masters. From 2008-2016 she was a staff member with Yoga Journal LIVE! Serving up to 5 conferences a year nationwide. She served The Sedona Yoga Festival as The Sponsor/Vendor Coordinator & Production Manager. Plus served as the Sponsor /Vendor Coordinator for SYTAR-The Symposium on Yoga Therapy And Research for The International Association of Yoga Therapist or IAYT. Martha has completed training in Mindful Resilience, and is a member of the Veterans Yoga Projects Teacher Alliance. She is also certified in Integrative Somatic Yoga. She is passionate about studies in Yoga philosophy, ayurveda, asana, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Subsequently, Martha’s offerings are an integrative blend of knowledge, skill and intuition.
