We’re starting off strong tonight with Murat Shiyanov, who was named the 2025–26 NCDC New England North Division MVP.

The second jersey up for auction tonight is fan-favorite forward Tyler Jarvis!

Bids start at $50. The final bid will take place with 7 minutes left in the second intermission. Winner must be present to win!

What makes Aroostook County special? For the Pioneers, it starts with potato harvest.

The boys got to spend some time learning about one of the biggest parts of life here in the County. From how the equipment works to why some local schools let students out for 1–3 weeks each year so they can work harvest.

They also picked up a few fun facts along the way. McCrum farms more than 5,000 acres of potatoes, with about 4,000 acres of chipping potatoes and 1,000 acres of russets. If you’ve ever eaten a potato chip between Maine and New York City or grabbed fries from Raising Cane’s, there’s a good chance you’ve eaten a potato grown right here in Aroostook County. A few of the boys even tried a raw potato straight from the field.

A huge thank you to McCrum for welcoming the boys and giving them this experience. It was a great way for them to learn a little more about the place they’re calling home before their first home opener.
