The goal isn’t identical swings—it’s better movement that helps each athlete perform more efficiently.

With Parker, we focused on controlling his movement from a more efficient Neutral COM position.

NEUTRAL POSITION → FORCE → SEQUENCE → STABILIZE → PERFORM

Better positions create better force, sequencing, stability and performance.

That’s development inside the AP Hitting System.

OPENINGS AVAILABLE — AP HITTING SYSTEM ⚾️🥎

We currently have openings for Baseball & Softball athletes in the AP Hitting System.

The AP Hitting System is built around more than simply changing what a swing looks like. We train the physiology behind efficient movement — how the body organizes, produces, transfers, and controls force.

Our system is built around five stages:

NEUTRAL Position → FORCE → SEQUENCE → STABILIZE → PERFORM

NEUTRAL
Establish a position where the body and nervous system can efficiently organize movement.

FORCE
Develop the ability to produce force from an efficient position.

SEQUENCE
Train the body to transfer that force through an efficient movement sequence.

STABILIZE
Build the strength and body control needed to manage those forces throughout the swing.

PERFORM
Allow the athlete to move explosively and react without consciously trying to manufacture positions.

We’re developing efficient movement patterns that allow each athlete’s individual swing to perform at a higher level.

Before ➡️ After | Neutral COM

This is FGCU Softball’s Presley Smith at the beginning of the summer compared to now.

One of the biggest areas we addressed this summer was how she organized and controlled her center of mass throughout the swing.

At AP, we teach hitters to work from a Neutral COM — putting the body in a position where it can create force, rotate efficiently, sequence movement and stabilize without having to compensate.

The goal wasn’t to create a different-looking swing.

The goal was to put her body in a better position to move efficiently and allow her athleticism to work.

That’s a major piece of the AP Hitting System.

AP Iso Hip Rotations

We use this drill to improve hip rotation, separation, and rotational stability.

The 3D strap anchors the upper body, forcing the athlete to keep the shoulders quiet while the hips rotate underneath. This teaches the body to create power from the ground up instead of spinning everything at the same time.

In this position, the athlete is learning to:

-Keep the center of mass balanced and stable.
-Rotate the hips while resisting with the trunk.
-Build strength and control in the positions that matter most during the swing.

Powerful hitters don’t just rotate faster, they sequence their movement better. The hips lead, the trunk follows, and the hands are delivered efficiently through the zone.
