Local Fishing Lakes Access Rant

​Falls Mill: Completely shut down to the public right now. Since it's a private lake located in Virginia, hopefully, they will reach an agreement and renew the contract with the DNR soon.

​Dan Hale: Closed to the public as well. There is no good reason why fishing shouldn't be allowed here.

​Glenwood: Barely fishable at this point. It was supposed to be cleaned up and dredged out, but our local tax dollars clearly got diverted somewhere else.

​Kee Dam: Pretty much the only workable lake left, assuming your vehicle can make it through the massive potholes at the entrance gate without breaking an axle.

​These are practically the only local lakes left for us to kayak fish, and it’s ridiculous to watch our tax dollars get wasted on nonsense while our public water access and infrastructure are completely neglected.
