Sorry about the lack of posts the last few days. The foals for the Wild Foals and Kids program arrived safely just before things got super stupid cold, with negative temperatures and snow. And just when we thought it’s warming up, we got freezing rain on top of the not melted snow. Today is a finally above freezing, but now we have water on top of ice on top of snow. What then horses looked like in the snow and our driveways look like currently.

Checked the roads this morning and so far they are looking good! Hopefully it stays that way!

Is everyone excited! Because we are! Tomorrow is the big day! We will be picking up 2024 Foals for the Wild Foals and Kids program! We are crossing our fingers that the weather is not horrible and we don't get a ton of snow dumped on us! It is a wee bit of a hike to the BLM pens but we are very excited and can't wait for the kids to meet this years crop of foals!
