This Saturday, April 4, is the Final Jackpot Trap Shoot of the season. Those of you who have entered 20 times or more are eligible for the Final Jackpot added money. If you don’t have 20 entries in, come on out, you’re still eligible for the regular lewis class payouts. This is a great way to get some practice in and everyone has a chance to win. See you tomorrow! Also, we will be closed on Sunday so Mark and staff can celebrate Easter with their family. 🐣

Want to be like Mike? Look no further than Mike Peck and Mike Gunderson! They dominated, with Mike Peck sweeping both Class 1 spots and Mike Gunderson taking both Class 2 spots. Great job, guys!!!! It's on to the Finale next week. See you all at the club on April 4th, starting at 10am.

Beautiful weather today at MGC for the Valentine’s Day Jackpot Trap Shoot. Thanks to Bob Wiltse and Mark for the Pheasant Burgers lunch.
Nine 25 straights today. Derek Fischer had a few, Mike Peck had a few, and Matt Bickell, David Michaelis, Tom Lewic, and Mike Gunderson had one. Great shooting all of you.

The weather was at least above zero last weekend so shooters bundled up and shot some jackpot trap! Mike Gunderson and Mike Peck both broke 25 on the same squad of 16 yd but the handicap was a different story. Only one handicap score started with a “2”. Congrats for the 20 and the win David Drill! Join us next Saturday for some more fun!

Randal Baker took top honors today in the 7th Annual Polar Bear S***t Tournament. 2nd place went to Jake Boerboon with a 98. Brian Hendrickson and Rollie Stehr both broke 96. The “Lucky Ticket” was awarded to Tate Peterson after a shoot off with Randy Vaske. Great scores despite the chilly conditions. Great job to the pullers Hayden and Josh who pulled back-to-back squads most of the day. Next up is the Polar Bear S***t League…

We have the annual Polar Bear S***t Shoot on Saturday, January 3rd starting at 10am. Temps may be a little chilly early in the day but wind speeds are minimal so break out the gun and come on out and compete. We will also have our weekly Jackpot Trap on Saturday and weekly Jackpot Sporties on Sunday. Something for everyone. These are non registered events so anyone can shoot and with the “Lucky Ticket” payout in the Polar Bear shoot and the lewis class in the jackpot shoots, anyone can win!🏆

We have had some carryovers the last couple of weeks and this weekend, despite the cold, several shooters entered the Christmas Ham Jackpot Trap Shoot more than once.  The winners were:

Attention members and guests: The Minneapolis Gun Club recently implemented a cold weather policy. If one hour prior to opening, the temperatures are 0 °F or colder or if the wind chill temperature is -10 °F or colder, the club will be closed for the day. It sure looks like this Saturday and Sunday will be very cold so the club will most likely not be open for shooting. If you want to come out for coffee and conversation, the clubhouse will probably be open for a few hours during the day.

The Thanksgiving Trap Jackpot shoot took place on Saturday, November 22. Derek Fischer took top honors with a score of 48. Congratulations to all the winners. We also held a drawing for 10 turkeys - congrats to those winners too. See you all next Saturday!

Jamie Victor was victorious over everyone for the weekly trap jackpot shoot. She broke a 48. Nice shooting Jamie!! Her dad also was a winner in the 2nd Lewis class. Regulars Terry Peterson and Mike Gunderson also placed in Class 1 and 2. Ties were decided with singles from the front. Join us next Saturday for the annual Thanksgiving Jackpot Turkey Shoot 🦃 🦃

The Halloween Trap Jacckpot shoot was held November 1. Lots of great food, shooting, and conversation. Congrats to all the winners and thank you to everyone who participated. Reminder that jackpot trap is every Saturday.
