Our goal as Prior Lake Extreme Volleyball Club is to provide an environment in which athletes are able to learn the game of volleyball and fine tune their individual skills. With dedicated and committed athletes, we will be able to provide an opportunity for girls to improve their game while learning the importance of sportsmanship, work ethic and teamwork.

We are excited to confirm that we will have room for up to 6 teams this year, depending on demand. We will focus on ages 11-14 first, 15s and 16s should hold off for now until we see our registration numbers the first few weeks. If there is a shortage of players and we have demand for an older team we will add one. All practices will be either 6:30-8:30 or 7:30-9:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at PLHS from after Thanksgiving break until the end of April. The proposed cost will be $750 for the season, which can be paid in installments. The cost covers gym space, paid coaches, registration fees, club fees, tournament fees and equipment. We run the club as a non-profit and we usually break even. We understand the cost is high, but we are considerably cheaper than our neighboring clubs. The biggest cost is paid coaches, but we feel like it is worth it to compensate our coaches for their time. Tryouts for 13s and 14s (7th/8th Grade) will be at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 16th. Tryouts for 11s and 12s (5th/6th Grade) will be at 7 pm on Thursday, November 18th. Any player who needs and alternative tryout should notify the directors and come to the other tryout. All teams should be posted by Friday, November 19th. The registration fee covers insurance, paid independent evaluators, and gym space. Thank you for your support of Prior Lake Volleyball!

We are putting together a 12s Boys short season team! April and May mostly, we will be flexible with baseball, basketball, lacrosse, etc schedules. Meeting this Thursday, Feb 27 in room B207 at PLHS at 6:00 pm. Please fill out the following form if you have a 5th or 6th grade boy interested in playing.

We have updated the "About Us" to include preliminary coaching assignments for the upcoming year. Early registration numbers confirm that we will be having 12-1, 13-1, 14-1 and 15-1 teams this year. We will have two more teams in our program. If we do not get enough 11s players to register and try out, we may decide to have a 12-2 team and have an open tryout for all 11s and 12s players and make two 12s teams. The final team will most likely be a 14-2 team that will be made up of the 10 best players in the 13s and 14s age group that do not make the 14-1 and 13-1 team. All players will be placed on a team or informed that there is not a team for them by the end of the tryout. If a player does not make a team, she will be given an evaluation sheet indicating the skills she should work to improve on for better success in future volleyball evaluations.
