This is no ordinary horse camp! Our campers not only get to ride, but a full horse education as well! They will get to spend their whole day with the horses, learning how to properly care for, in addition to ride, horses.
Campers will be learning grooming techniques, bathing, clipping, all the essentials. First Aid how to's in bandages, shots, and body functions. Detailed lesson time in horse anatomy, tack, and terminology. Demonstrations in farrier work, veterinary work, and c**t training. Trailering to a local park for ride is a added bonus.
We are minutes from Canterbury and spend a day with the backside trainers, learning about the industry from the horsemen side. Each day is filled with everything horse. Come turn an interest into a life long hobby with us.
