Given the high volume of pedestrians attempting to cross the street, it became evident that some would resort to hopping over the jersey barrier into the active work zone.
Understanding the need for a solution that would not only safeguard the work area but also provide lasting value, Q3 Contracting sought a robust construction barrier fence with enhanced security features. They chose the Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™. Read more about the Xcel Energy Project: https://hilmersonsafety.com/construction-barrier-fence-protects-xcel-energy-street-project/

The U.S. State Department recently selected Pretred to present its barrier innovation made from recycled tires at the Cities Summit of Americas alongside Hilmerson’s Side-Saddle Bracket™ and barrier fence.
Pretred’s line of sustainable barriers recycled from waste tires pairs perfectly with our Hlmerson Barrier Fence System™ and passion for lean construction product development.
“We love that 70 tires are recycled per barrier,” said Deb Hilmerson, President and CEO of Hilmerson Safety™. “It’s a leaner alternative to concrete. It’s good for the environment and you will save money on transportation costs as the product is more than half the weight of a concrete barrier.”
