Last, but certainly not least.. Thank you to these gentleman, our team captains this season, Aiden and Nathan!! Thank you for such a fun season, for being so welcoming to all the new swimmers, but also for your encouragement and support not only at the meets, but during practice as well.

Sections week is here!!!


Practice schedule:


Mon – Wed 3:15 – 4:45ish Friday – 3:15 – 4:15ish.


Thursday Preliminaries: Meet in Hibbing starts at 5:00. Bus departs Proctor at 1:30, Esko 1:45. Get there early for a good seat. There will be admission chargemeet t-shirts and concessions. Just quick Subway after meet. Bleh!


Saturday Finals: Meet starts at 3:00, again get there early. Bus depart Proctor at 12:00 We will go to Pizza Ranch after the meet, welcome to join.


How sections work. Thursday is the Preliminaries and everyone swims like a normal invitational meet. The fastest 16 in every event then move onto the Saturday Finals meet. Places 9-16 will swim in the consolation heat which goes 1st then the places 1-8 will swim in the Championship heat. If your swimmer is in the consolation and gets a faster time than someone in the finals heat, the best they can get is 9th place. If your swimmers does not make in the top 16, I would still like them to come support their team and experience the section meet. Also, everyone on the roster is considered an alternate for the relays. It is a fun and exciting meet and good experience for the young swimmers!

Top 3 in every event then move on to the State meet the following week.

The boys swim at Mesabi East at 430pm!!

HOME meet tonight vs Chisholm at 5pm. We will also be celebrating our seniors and their parents tonight. So, come on out and cheer on the team!

Tuesday: Home meet at 5:00 with Chisholm. It will be parent/senior night. After the 60 free, we will call out the swimmer and you come stand on deck with them until all are announced.



Friday: Giant Country Inv at Mesabi East. Starts at 4:30. It is a small invite and goes quickly. There will be a concession stand and we will most likely stop at Subway on the way home.



We are coming down to almost the end! Only 3 ½ weeks until Sections. Please help keep your swimmers excited for that meet as it is the Grand Finale!
