Proctor and Hermantown High School Wrestling Team Wrestling improves strength, balance, speed, agility and intensity that will carry on to other sports.

It promotes health, exercise, teamwork and personal achievement. It does not favor athletes of any particular height, weight, muscle type, race or social class and does not rely on superior vision or hearing. The individual nature of the sport provides an opportunity for young athletes to develop a sense of responsibility and self esteem while learning the relationship between effort and achievement.
