The power of patience is truly amazing. I waited 9 months to finally be gifted one of the best surprises ever.

If you know me, you know I kept saying my heart felt Tripp was in there the whole time. Tripp meaning number 3, was welcomed into the world on March 16th @ 10:35 AM.

Thank you so much to everyone who messaged us, prayed for us & checked in as we welcomed him into the world.

A must read for parents who think we’re crazy when we say please commit to 6 weeks with me.

It’s time worth spent I promise.

We know, we know...it sounds a little crazy and is quite the commitment but this is very much by design. Here's a bit of info as to why we do short, frequent lessons in ISR for 5 days a week for 5-7 weeks...

💦 It's the way young children learn 💦

As babies, we don't practice walking once a week. Standing, balancing, cruising are done in tiny increments each day as part of our experience of learning to walk. And similar to walking, swimming is a sensorimotor skill best learned by experience over time.

💦Kids thrive on routine💦

The consistency of the daily lesson schedule creates an optimal learning environment. When kids know where they are going, who they will be with, and what is expected of then they begin to feel confident and secure, building trust with their instructor as they are taught these priceless skills.

💦It’s WORK!💦

People often think of swimming as a "for fun" activity, but they forget...it's a workout! Little bodies get tired quickly, and fatigued muscles + water (the most unforgiving environment on the planet) = dangerous. Safety is our top priority, so instructors closely monitor your child's fatigue to ensure they are practicing efficiently for an optimal learning experience.

My heart immediately dropped watching this video....
Not because I didn’t think she would fail, but because I’m a mom & my nature instinct is to gasp at the sight of any small child possibly drowning in a pool.

Just like this mom did...her heart sank in the pit of her stomach but she kept herself together for the betterment of her child. She allowed her child to self rescue & use the skills I taught her & find her back to breathe.

It probably wasn’t an easy choice, but this mom was brave. She trusted the process of ISR & allowed it to save her child’s life right in front of her.

I share this video to bring awareness to how fast an accident can happen. Pretend for a second only 1 parent existed in this video. Doorbell rings & mom says, “everyone get out, let me answer the door.” Children exit pool and mom runs inside to the front door but toddler goes back to dip foot in the pool. Toddler hears mom yell from inside to get out of the pool. Toddler then goes to get out and banana slips on the coping, tries to recover and falls into pool. Mom is still at the door signing off on her delivery while her toddler is now gasping for life. It happens in seconds.

Don’t be naive about situations like this. If they can happen before your eyes, they can happen when you least expect. Every layer of protection is important when you have a pool. iSR is an additional layer that would potentially save your child’s life.

Invest in your child & find an ISR instructor nearest to you.

This was my little guy, 3 years ago as he took on his 3rd season of ISR. This was the season that we moved out to Prosper & I drove over 1 hr each way to see Tiffani so she could skilled both my kids.

I was loyal to her & my kids adored her. I invested in my children & did whatever I had to in order to make sure they had life saving skills in the event of an emergency. This was also the year Tiffani spoke to me about becoming an instructor myself.

It was something I really had to pray on. I’m so glad I choose that decision almost 3 years ago & I’m so grateful for the amazing relationship I have with her still to this day.

ISR is unlike any other swim experience. Invest in your child & watch them swim like my little guy.

I hear it all the time, “my child is too young to need these lessons” or “I will wait until we are around a pool to get them”

Well ask THREE of my current parents right now if they thought their child would have a near drowning accident. I said that correctly, THREE! Thankfully, every single of one of these parents were watching or in close proximity when it happened. & it usually happens with a position much like this one.

Toy falls in pool, child reaches down to grab it and the weight of their head overtakes their bodies & BAM! Into the pool. It happens in a split second.

If you are on the fence about swim survival lessons, don’t be. It’s the best investment you can make for your young child.

Dived right into Session #2 this morning.

So proud of every one of my returning clients, they all held their floats from last year & are soon on their way to learning more this year.

Here’s to day 2, when it gets really loud in the pool. 🤣

Woohoo! Session 1 of 2021 is in the books.

I can’t thank my clients enough for being so flexible as we maneuvered through 3 different pool locations after multiple issues with our first pool.
I know how much of a sacrifice 6 weeks is. But I hope each of you saw the amazing transformation that each of your littles made in their swims & floats.

Can’t wait to see everyone back for maintenance lessons. Now on to session #2!!

Special shout-out to the Howard’s for opening up their resort to me last minute & allowing us to finish out our session! I’m so grateful for the friendship we have built.

I feel this in my bones on every aspect of swim right now.

We’ve had the worst luck with our pool heater at the host pool this session. The Snow storm weeks before proved to be a bigger problem than I initially thought. Heaters are going out left & right and sadly you can’t even get parts in a timely manner because everything is backed up.

My clients have been so amazing this session to pivot to plan B pools & continue to stay in the water. We’re almost on the last leg of the race!! We can do it!!
