After dropping the first game Saturday morning, these boys never quit and battled back to go 4-1 in the 23-team Five Tool Texas 20 State Championship this weekend to win the Championship game to close out the weekend! 🔥

This team showed nothing but HEART, determination, and grit all weekend long. Coming into the tournament with only 9 available players due to missing Kai Medeiros, every single player had to step up, play different positions, and fight through adversity together as ONE team.

Couldn’t be more proud of the toughness, attitude, and teamwork this group showed all weekend. Every player contributed, battled through fatigue, and played for each other. That’s what Bomb Squad baseball is all about.

What a night for the Bomb Squad at Cosmic Baseball in Frisco! ⚾🌌

Proud of this group not just for what they do on the field, but for how they show up together off it. Great energy, great attitudes, and a team that continues to grow stronger every day. This was a one-of-a-kind experience and a well-earned night to enjoy it.

Bomb Squad baseball season is underway with three tournaments already in the books. I’m incredibly proud of these boys for competing hard against some higher division teams to start the year.

They have had to battle, face adversity early, and find ways to overcome challenges. It has been great to see them continue to grow and improve each week.

This past weekend at Mavs started off slow on Saturday as we faced some of the best pitching we have seen all year. But the team never gave up. They came back out on Sunday and battled hard, earning a win against the #1 ranked team in the tournament.

The entire team contributed, with Nolan Williams commanding the game from the mound and three big home runs from Rod Leroux, Jett Nelson, and Nolan Williams.

Excited to see where the rest of the season takes this group. Let’s go Bomb Squad 💣⚾

My message to all you Baseballplayers today:

Gold is one of the most valuable things on earth, right?
But here’s the part most people forget… even gold, when it’s first found in the ground, isn’t pure. It has dirt in it, flaws in it — it isn’t ready yet.

To become pure, gold has to go through fire.
Real heat.
A furnace.

Think about that for a second… something that valuable has to be tested before it becomes what it’s meant to be.

Baseball works the same way.
Life works the same way.

Every time you strike out…
Every error…
Every bad game…
Every moment you feel that burn inside — that frustration, that disappointment — that’s your furnace.

It doesn’t feel good.
It’s not supposed to.
But it’s shaping you.
It’s strengthening you.
It’s making you more valuable than you were before.

You shouldn’t judge yourself by who you are today.
Judge yourself by who you’re becoming after the burn — after you learn, after you work, after you grow.

Because without the burn, even gold would be worthless.
But with it?
It becomes something rare, strong, and valuable.

So when you fail, don’t get mad… get better.

Remember: the furnace isn’t there to break you — it’s there to build you.”
