🥎 We Need 3 Amazing 12U Softball Coaches!

First, THANK YOU to our incredible PBSA community! Fall softball registration has been amazing, and we're so excited to see so many girls ready to hit the field this season.

Now we need your help.

We currently have three 12U teams that still need volunteer head coaches. Without coaches, we can't form teams, and that means girls who are excited to play may miss out on the opportunity.

If you've ever thought about coaching, this is your sign. You don't have to be a former college athlete or know everything about the game. You simply need a willingness to encourage, teach, and help create a fun, positive experience for these young athletes. PBSA will support you along the way.

Coaching is one of the most rewarding ways to give back to our community. The memories you make, the confidence you help build, and the impact you'll have on these players will last far beyond one season.

⚾🥎 Fall Ball registration is OPEN, and spots are filling quickly!

We already have nearly 1,200 baseball players and more than 400 softball players registered for the upcoming season, with many more families still expected to sign up. Several divisions will close as they reach capacity, so if your player wants to be on the field this fall, don't wait to register!

📅 Baseball registration is scheduled to close on July 12, or sooner if divisions fill and move to a waitlist.

📅 Softball registration is expected to remain open a little longer, likely into the later part of July, but divisions can still fill quickly, so early registration is highly encouraged.

A reminder to all returning and new coaches: PBSA requires a new coaching application every season. If you plan to coach this fall and have not submitted your application, please do so as soon as possible so we can begin forming teams and preparing for assessments.

We're also excited to partner with D1 Prosper for this year's baseball assessments and can't wait to see our players in action as we prepare for Opening Day on August 22!

We will be holding a tryout for our 2034 10U Pride team this Sunday, June 28 at Frontier Park Field 8. This is for girls born 9/1/2015 through 12/31/2016 who must have 10U experience (select or rec). Pitchers and Catchers will report at 5:00 pm. All other players may show up at 6:00 pm to warm up.

World Softball Day is observed each year on June 13, commemorating the 1991 announcement that women's fastpitch softball would be added to the Olympic Games. It was a historic moment that helped showcase the sport on the world stage and inspire generations of players.

At PBSA, we're proud to see that same passion, teamwork, and determination displayed every season on our fields. From first-time players learning the game to seasoned athletes competing at a high level, softball continues to create lifelong memories and friendships.
