Congrats to on a sweep yesterday, taking both matches from Providence on Old Dutch Day. The 1864 opener remained neck and neck through seven, with the Atlantic pulling away in the late innings for a 16-8 final. Game two was played by the rules of 1870, and hits proliferated on both sides of the score sheet with a final tally of 40-34 after seven innings. Next Saturday, June 6, the Grays return to action in a round robin outing facing and at Wethersfield Cove, CT. First pitch is 11 AM.

After beginning the season with two tough losses to the Westfield Wheelmen, your Providence Grays are in search for their first wins of the season, as today’s matches commence on the Town Common in Salem, Massachusetts, with two 1864 matches scheduled against a tough foe in the Dirigo Base Ball Club of Maine!!

First pitch is scheduled for 11:00 AM EST. Bring all of your friends and family for what is sure to be a fun day of base ball!!
