Week 2: Exploring Mindful Movement and Breathing Conscious breathing, gentle supported, seated stretches and exercises. 🍁
Week 3: Restorative Stretches & Guided Meditation
Supported floor based yoga poses to relax to the muscles and connective tissues.🌻
Week 4: Mindful Yoga Flow Basics
Combining gentle, beginner friendly yoga poses with conscious breath and movement. 🍁

Today we meet Kat 💫
She manages our PBH yoga studio!
You can reach out to Kat with any questions related to Yoga and expect a prompt and thoughtful answer!
Kat first discovered yoga and meditation seven years ago at her local yoga studio. Since then she has completed an Iyengar specified 200-hour yoga teacher training at Pilgrimage of the Heart Yoga (RYT-200) in her home state of California, became a Reiki practitioner, is Crystal Healing Therapist, and looks to continue her studies in holistic health.
Her mission and experience are in teaching Yoga asana, meditation, pranayama (breath work), and assisting students to take what they learn on the mat with them in their everyday lives. She believes Yoga should be easily available to every being, she does this by tailoring her classes to her student’s needs. With that being said she is more than happy to sit down and chat on what your needs may entail, just ask!
Off the yoga mat, Kat is a professional photographer and owns a business with her partner, she is a dog mom, loves any kind of outdoor adventure, enjoys meeting new people, and is passionate about holistic health! If you have any questions always feel free to strike up a conversation after class sometime!

Today we are meeting our lovely new instructor Tracy!
Tracy teaches our Saturday Mindful Yoga Basics class at 9 am
Tracy is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) based in Rhode Island. In addition to being a RYT, Tracy has an extensive background in Biological research and science education and loves connecting the worlds of science, anatomy and yoga.
Tracy’s aim is to make everyone feel comfortable approaching the practice of yoga while challenging them to achieve the things she also thought unattainable. Whether you are seeking the calm and relaxation we all need right now or a bit of strength and sweat, there is something for everyone in Tracy’s mindful sequences and readings. These classes have been enjoyed by beginners and long-time practitioners alike. Tracy is thrilled to be a part of the PBH Yoga and Wellness team. ✨✨✨

Kylie first began yoga as a way to slow down her mind, move energy, and stay grounded. Wanting to share the benefits of yoga with others, she completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher training in the Spring of 2018. When not in the studio, Kylie is completing her undergraduate degree at Brown University, majoring in both environmental science and contemplative studies, with aspirations to be a holistic counselor. She also enjoys being in nature, hiking with her dog, and painting. Kylie sees yoga is a means to deepen your connection with your authentic self and with others, finding internal peace and freedom along way. 💛
