Owner/ Instructor: Susan Bruch, 2nd Dahn (Kyo Sah Nim)
Instructor Background:
"My martial arts journey began in the 7th grade with Tae Kwon Do. I earned my 1st Dahn black belt at 18, right before leaving for military basic training. After years of moving around, I returned home to Pryor and discovered the art of K*k Sool Won 16 years ago.
I have proudly owned and operated this dojang for the last 5 years.
About the Art of K*k Sool Won:
K*k Sool Won is a comprehensive and systematic study of all the traditional fighting arts that comprise the martial arts history of Korea. Rather than focusing on just one aspect of self-defense, it beautifully integrates three main branches of traditional Korean martial arts: Tribal/Family, Buddhist Temple, and Royal Court martial arts. The curriculum is incredibly diverse, offering students a chance to learn striking and kicking, joint manipulation and locks, throwing and grappling, tumbling, and traditional weapons forms. Beyond practical self-defense, the training is purposely designed to build unshakable self-confidence, goal-setting skills, and discipline. It provides a total body workout that improves functional strength, gentle joint mobility, and stress management in a welcoming environment where students become lifelong friends.
We cater to all ages and skill levels under one roof—we are one martial arts family.
Community Expansion Request:
While our main classes cater to all ages, we are currently looking for opportunities to grow our Little Dragons (young children) and Golden Tigers (seniors) programs. The Golden Tigers class moves at a much slower pace to focus on low-impact mobility and stretching, with seated options available if a student needs them. We would love to host these groups at the venue, or partner with local daycares, senior centers, and adaptive fitness organizations to bring the classes directly to them.
Also, I have a curriculum setup for Women's Self Defense Workshops if anyone is interested.
Let me know if you need any additional details or clarification on any of these points. "
Best Regards,
Susan Bruch
