Due to the potential for poor air quality later today, all activities scheduled for Thursday July 2nd, 2026, ONLY, after 3pm have been canceled. This also includes all games, practices, and any other scheduled or unscheduled team activities for Thursday, June 2nd, ONLY, for all programs.

Youth Golf Lessons are still on as scheduled for today.

📢 Pueblo West Metropolitan District offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 3.

District offices will reopen during normal business hours after the holiday weekend.

Registration is now open for Youth Tennis Lessons!

Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time or looking to continue building their skills, this is a great opportunity to get out on the court this summer.

Lessons will be held at the Civic Center Tennis Courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 7 through July 30.

🎾 Ages 5–8: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
🎾 Ages 9–12: 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM

We're excited to welcome back Coaches Cauthon and Lucero after a fantastic first session.

Registration closes July 5 at 11:59 PM, and spots are limited to just 12 participants per age group, so don't wait to sign up!

🚨 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY UPDATE: Pueblo West Metro District 4th of July Events

Due to the Aspen Acres Fire and the continued partnership of our Pueblo West Fire Department with first responders actively fighting wildland fire, we regret to inform our community that the following Fourth of July activities have been canceled:
❌ Pancake Breakfast at Fire Station #1
❌ Spray in the Park

We know these events are a valued part of our community's Independence Day celebration, and we share in your disappointment. However, the critical needs of our Fire Department and the ongoing emergency response efforts mean we do not have the staffing and facilities necessary to safely accommodate all planned activities.

✅ The Bike Rally will still take place at Civic Center Park at 10:30 a.m., followed by Popsicles for everyone! Staging will begin at 10:15 a.m.

The safety of our residents, visitors, and first responders remains our highest priority. While this isn't the Fourth of July celebration we had planned, we appreciate our community's understanding, flexibility, and continued support of the firefighters and emergency personnel working tirelessly to protect lives and property.

We would like to thank all first responders currently serving on the front lines during this critical time. 💙

This also includes all games, practices, and any other scheduled or unscheduled team activities for Wednesday, June 1st.

Decisions regarding other sports programs scheduled this week will be made based on current air quality conditions and participant safety.

Due to poor air quality conditions, all Youth T-Ball activities scheduled for June 30, 2026, have been canceled.

This includes all games, practices, and any other scheduled or unscheduled team activities for this afternoon after 3pm for all sports programs except golf lessons. Golf lessons are on as scheduled.

Decisions regarding other sports programs scheduled this week will be made no earlier than 1:00 PM on the day of the activity, based on current air quality conditions and participant safety.

Registration for session 3 of our youth golf lessons is now open! This session will run July 13th-July 23rd!
