DSR Fishing Report for 10 September 2026:

NOTICES:

***On Friday, September 4th in the late afternoon or early evening one of our guests lost something of high value here at the DSR. If this applies to you, please call us at your earliest convenience. ***

A wallet belonging to Derek Hedmeck was turned in today, by another guest; it may be recovered at the ticket booth lost and found for a period of 30 days maximum.

REPORT:

Although we didn’t get as much rain as hoped for, it certainly seemed to help with our guests’ fishing success today (possibly the strong Westerly winds as well). Fishing was substantially better today than the previous days, listed as good to excellent with Kings, (many well over 20lbs), along with a handful of Cohos and Browns also. Our guest volume would be best described as moderate in the morning hours, thinning out to low in the afternoon.

Pictured below is Scott with a big King. Scott was fishing with Brian Ferman of ‘High Hook Guide Service’

CFS / WEATHER:

The flow from the dam is currently showing 185 CFS and is scheduled to remain at that level until 11:59 PM on Friday, September 25th. The Pineville Gauge is currently at 236 CFS.

Tonight: Some clouds this evening will give way to mainly clear skies overnight. Low 51F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Tomorrow: Sunny. High near 70F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow Sunrise: 6:40am Tomorrow Sunset: 7:24pm
