Nobody likes arriving at a game ready to compete only to find out the other team didn't show. That's why Intramural Sports is introducing a new Forfeit Fee aimed at reducing forfeits and helping more Cougs get the chance to play. 🐾
A forfeit occurs when a team does not show up for a scheduled game and does not notify the Intramural Staff. Teams that forfeit will be charged a $20 fee each night they forfeit a game.
The goal isn't to punish participants. It's to create a better experience for everyone by reducing missed games and increasing opportunities to play.
