Not every thing comes out of box ready to play even though the specs say so , oh well file to fit , and the middle ring should fit right on these old Sugino/White Industries Cranks 😉

On Higher mileage side, he had 20,000 of those in the first 3 years customers head unit says 23,330 miles and we know he rides on the trainer sometimes so that’s reading probably a few thousand low, a great retirement hobby 😉

Well this project took longer then expected, however the 1954 Chevy Bedwood project is done and it’s back loose on the Palouse 😃

Defective spec , looks good on paper , they sent it out , why folks to design stuff should be required to built it .
In this case tires being too fat for the frame , yep looks cool but will destroy the frame if not carefully watched 🙄

Stuck Shimano XT pedal VS MIG welder, it now has wrench flats , the cracks in the spindle by the way flex out under pressure adding pressure to the threads making it almost impossible to remove by normal means 😉

Just looks like trouble a Shimano XT that doesn’t want to come loose , can see cracks in the spindle around the Allen fitting , new to the customer bike and the park extractor didn’t move it , so looks like a plan B project 😏

Old Trek 990 , classic lugged frame , well used , customer got it for free and needs to decide if he wants to fix it up , I vote yes but might be biased 😉

Classic early 1990s Specialized Hardrock , customer got it gifted to them and did the right thing and had us give it bit of love , looks close to new again 😄

Classic 1992 Bridgestone XO-3 sold it the customer decades ago just slightly used , been through a few parts kits and it’s back in for more drivetrain bits , Grant claimed in the Original catalog “Casual to athletic rides of up to 25 miles “ yeah this customers rides have been quite a bit in excess of that rider profile 😉
