Another strong weekend for FC 11U winning the Shenandoah Valley Sports Nation Championship today. Boys went 3-0 out scoring their opponents 53-8 and clobbering 9 more 💣. Keep it rollin!

Tip of the cap to FC 11U winning the Shenandoah Valley Frozen Rope Championship yesterday. 3 games they out scored their opponents 47-10. 1 homers including 2 grand slams. Way to start the season off hot boys!

Shoutout to former FC ballplayer and camp instructor Wyatt Miles. #1 went 4-5 w 6 RBI’s and hit for the cycle earlier today for Frederick Community College.

Fielder's Choice is excited to welcome Jason Bours as our newest instructor to the FC family.

Coach Bours played at Westfield HS in Fairfax County then at Hampden Sydney and George Mason University. After being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and participated in the 2011 Arizona Fall League. He made it to AA ball 3 times and ended his career as a part of the Chicago White Sox organization.

He will offer specialized training with catchers, fielders, and hitters. Email or call the office to schedule a lesson today!

Hats off one last time to our 2021 11U National Team. The team capped off their season as 2021 11U Perfect Game National Champions in New Jersey! Several tourneys and an overall season record of 31-6-1. Heck of a season boys rest up for a week or two and prepare for the fall!

RISING 9U and 10U TEAMS

2021 Fall Travel Baseball Tryouts. If your son is serious about baseball- this is where he needs to be! We invite you to join us for a tryout.

Rising 9U- Players may not turn 10 before MAY 1, 2021.

Rising 10U- Players may not turn 10 before MAY 1, 2021.

Selected players will participate in League Games on Sundays, Weekend Tournaments, and Weekday Practices.

The club is looking to fill National and American teams in each age group.

National Teams compete at the highest competitive level in local and regional tournaments.

American Teams play primarily local double-headers with a focus on insturctional development.

FCB National Coaches:

10U-Dan Miles- Founder of FCB and owner of Fielder's Choice. Dan has 25+ yrs experience coaching all ages and levels of travel baseball. Director of Baseball Instruction at FC.

9U- Chris Lose- Senior Instructor at FC, former High School Baseball Coach, several years at multiple levels of travel baseball.

Coach Bauer was on the baseball staff at various high schools including Broad Run, Park View, Stone Bridge, and Loudoun Valley. Coach Bauer is the former Head Baseball Coach at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg and has been part of the FC instructional and coaching staff since 2011.

More props to our 10U going 4-1 this weekend and winning the Regional Championships at Shenandoah Valley! Keep it rolling boys

Shoutout to our 8U winning the War of the Roses in York, PA in their first ever tournament. Boys went 2-0 Saturday earning the 1 seed and had to battle back and win in walk off extra innings twice before winning the championship 14-0. Great weekend boys

FC Alums in action: former FC teammates Wyatt Miles and David Gingras helped Frederick Comm College punch their ticket to the JUCO World Series over the weekend.

Wyatt tied the game with a two run homer in the top of the 9th and Gingras closed out the bottom half with a big K to win the game. Great job boys and good luck in Oklahoma!

FC Fall 8U tryouts are coming! If your son is serious about competitive baseball this is the team to get started on.

The team will be led by Coach Mark Bauer, former coach at Broad Run, Park View, Stone Bridge and Loudoun Valley. He was also the head coach at Tuscarora High School and has been an instructor and coach for FC since 2011.
