Darcie is now out of the hospital and on the road to recovery, it is time to get back to work. We have classes scheduled and I am finalizing a special rate at a hotel near the training site.

The classes will be in Federal Way WA, a suburb of Seattle. The hotel has a complementary airport and local transportation shuttle. They also serve a complementary breakfast. Check out the schedule at http://www.griefinc.com/griefinc/default.htm and call me.

Class size is limited to 14 per class. We have an early-bird special and the special rate at the hotel is good for reservations made no less than 30 days in advance.

March and April seem to have difficulties, but may still be viable.
We have found the following possibilities:
May 1-4
May 15-18
June 5-8
June 19-22
June 12-15
We have several GSP people who are interested in the GMS Completion. Please reply with your order of preference so we can accommodate the largest number of students. We need to limit the class to 15 for the training space we have available.

We are setting our AGA class schedule. We are looking at a date in late March or early April for our GMS Completion class to be held here in the Seattle area. Call, email or send me a message if you are interested.

Due to a surprise change in one of our national contracts, we will have more openings in our 2014 schedule. This is a good time to schedule your 2014 events. Call today before our calendar fills back up.

Wow! Happy New Year and Thank you to each of you, who have sent notes of encouragement. It is wonderful to be supported by all of your energy. Tomorrow begins the odyssey as the fight begins.

I was surprised at the number of comments and the strength of your words. I will avoid the boring details, but I will let you know how I am progressing through course of my treatment.

Darcie and I wish all of you a successful new year. We are so moved by your outpouring of concern.

Some bad news...

Over the holidays I had exploratory surgery to find that I now have bladder Cancer. The indication is that, although the tumors removed were of a high level, they did not appear to be invasive. The surgeon is confident that they removed it all, but indicated that recurrence is highly likely.

Over the next few months, I will be undergoing chemotherapy and other procedures to follow the progress of the disease process. Following the treatment course, they will then follow me forever to assure that when/if it returns, we are on top of it. Over the next few months, I will be rearranging my schedule to accommodate the various physician visits and treatments.

Any thoughts, prayers, hopes and cheer will be much appreciated.
