Congratulations to coach Pat Mullen on earning SPSL Division Coach of the Year, as voted on unanimously by his peers. After leading the Jags to 18 regular season wins and an undefeated SPSL season, this is a great testament to the hard work of the entire staff and the awesome athletes that help make Emerald Ridge great!

Our entire track team wanted to send a big congratulations!

Up to SIXTY SEVEN schools registered for the South Sound Classic! This includes 12 new teams to the mix! With less than 3 weeks to the start of the season, we’re excited to break the 70 team barrier!

And our women’s school record holders, old and new. These include a current state record, a former state record, and 8 marks in the state all-time top-10.

Join us on Sunday, September 14th for a 1:10 game on the 100 level, as the Mariners take on the Angels. It is the last divisional weekend game of the season, with huge stakes as the Mariners look to punch their playoff ticket down the stretch!

Congratulations to .track.field sophomore Jenovae McGriff on her top-3 finish in the heptathlon at Junior Olympic National Championships!

Jenovae was second overall in both the 100 hurdles and 800, equaled her high jump PR, and had personal bests in both the long jump javelin on day two. The 800 was run on a track surface at 119 degrees (and Georgia humidity, no number required) and the meet was suspended for the day within minutes after she ran.

Being an All-American in the heptathlon (7 events) in your first year of track, having 6 of the events be brand new this summer, and finishing third at nationals is a great testament to Jenovae’s athletic abilities, her intelligence, and her competitive spirit.
