Skookum Members, this is to just inform you that tomorrow, along with the closure of Walk-Through Courses A & B for the WTA group working on our stairs.
The member's range will also be closed starting at 1pm to 4pm for a birthday party.

Due to repeated reminders, we are providing visual aids to clarify our range rules, which you agreed to upon entry.

Shooting is strictly allowed from the designated line marked in yellow. The grass area, marked with red circles and arrows, is not for shooting or creating alternative distances.

We appreciate the challenge of the mountainous terrain in upcoming shoots, but ask you respect the range's rules for shooting. This field is used exclusively for specific tournaments.

Your cooperation in adhering to these rules ensures continued public access to the range. Skookum Archers is a private club allowing public use.

This Memorial Day, Skookum Archers would like to thank all those who have sacrificed so much to allow us the freedoms we enjoy each and everyday.

They have extended the Special Permit Application deadline.

Important special hunt announcement! 📢 We've extended this year’s special hunt application submission deadline by one week to May 27 following an unexpected delay in the availability of physical copies of this year’s big game hunting regulations.

“Unfortunately, a shipping delay meant hard-copy regulations arrived to WDFW and were made available to hunters about one week later than we expected,” explained Anis Aoude, WDFW game division manager. “We know that many hunters really value using the physical copy of the regulations when making their hunt choices, so we chose to extend the submission deadline to give these hunters more time to make their selections with the physical copy of the pamphlet in hand.”

Hunters can pick up physical copies of the 2026 Washington Big Game Hunting Regulations at WDFW offices and license dealer locations. Please call your local license dealer or WDFW office ahead of time to inquire about availability; regulations are currently being delivered across the state.

With the Hunting Regs finally hitting all the stores and online please keep in mind Special Draw Application deadline is 20 May. So make sure you to give yourself time to purchase and submit them if you are planning to.
