Our outdoor ranges are open to the public from sunrise to sunset every day. Skookum Archers is one of the largest and oldest archery clubs in Washington state. Before the first modern Olympic Games. Before basketball was invented. USA Archery was already holding its Target Nationals. 🏹
First contested in 1879, one of the longest-standing traditions in American sport heads to Westfield, Indiana in 2027, and this time, there’s even more on the line.
The Target Nationals, U.S. Open and USAT Series Final are coming to Westfield, Indiana, with the week also marking the start of qualification for the LA28 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. 🇺🇸🔥

SATURDAY WORK PARTY!
As is normally the case, there are a lot of projects to work on.
1. There is an issue with our septic feed pipe leaking near the entrance to C1 which means a bunch of digging to expose the pipe and leak.
2. Tree's down on, in or near the end of C and beginning of D.
3. The stormwater catch basin has to be cleaned out.
4. There is a bad bale on D course that needs replacing.
5. Work on double target stands for C course.
6. Clearing, Whacking the walk throughs.
7. Empty Trash bins in the walk-through courses.
8. Fill and level the flat range sink holes.
9. Whack the Shaw Road fence line and pick up the litter.
Surplus Multi-Season tags go on sale starting with Elk on 25 Aug and Deer 27 Aug. They will be first come first serve at any retailer at 10:00 am. Multi-Season deer is $191.77 and elk is $250.97. There are 3,137 remaining deer tags and 187 elk tags up for grabs.

Washington sportsmen and women—sign-ups are now open for the August 13-14 Commission meeting in Long Beach, and the agenda has been released.
If you plan to speak during open public comment, sign up now using the link at the bottom of this post. Choose your day and whether you’ll attend in person or via Zoom. Speaking slots can fill quickly, so don’t wait—and be sure to register anyone in your group who wants to participate.
