Senior spotlight 🚨 #27 Luke Herr

Luke has been playing baseball since he could walk... It all started with imaginary baseball in the living room with pillows, and he couldn't wait to be 5 to start playing t-ball.

Luke's had a lot of great memories over the years, but his favorite is Sophomore year playing at Ephrata and throwing 6 shutout innings against a hitting team and getting the win!

Luke's future plans are to go into the workforce and then decide exactly what career path he would like to take.

Senior spotlight 🚨 #10 Lucas Vilk

Lucas has been playing baseball for 13 years.

His favorite memory is playing in the 12u tournament in Salisbury, MD with SYB. It was eye opening-All of the kids on the other teams were so much bigger, some of them had mustaches. But we had a blast together.

Lucas's future plans are attending Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD and will be majoring in cybersecurity and playing on the baseball team.

Senior spotlight 🚨 #11 Jacob Gilman

Jacob has played baseball since he was 4 years old, starting with t-ball at Solanco Little League. This is his 14th year playing ball.

He has played for Solanco Little League, Solanco Youth Baseball, Complete Game Academy, Southern End Sluggers, and Solanco High School.

Jacob's favorite memory is the SYB 10u team that went 21-1. He loved making the switch to SYB and the group of boys he bonded with, winning of course was amazing, he felt like they were invincible.

Jacob plans to study Criminal Justice at HACC in the fall. He plans on getting his Associate's degree and then applying for the Pennsylvania State Police to become a trooper and eventually a crime scene investigator.

We had a great afternoon of baseball last year! Come join us for the 2nd annual alumni game.
