"I've always been a size nine."

We hear some version of that almost every day, usually from somebody sitting down with us for the first time. 👟

So we got curious and asked our own crew, one at a time, what percentage of their first time customers are walking in in the wrong size. We heard 70%. One said 80%. Someone actually confidently said 90%. Nobody compared answers beforehand, and all three agreed on the direction: usually a size too small.

Come in and let's find you the right pair. The measuring is the first few minutes of it, and then we put you in something built for the foot you have now rather than the size you've always worn.

“Storewide” means nothing if you don’t know what’s in the store. So here it is, rack by rack. 👟

Swipe through: the everyday walking wall, trail and hike, the soft cushioned ones for people who stand for a living, recovery sandals, insoles, socks. A lot of the clearance is last season’s color and there is nothing else wrong with it.

You don’t have to be a runner to shop here. What we’re good at is working out what your feet are actually doing all day, and getting you into something that supports you.

Labor Day is the only holiday named after work. đŸ’Ș

Nobody around here spends it sitting down. There’s a yard that’s been waiting since May. A walk that has to happen early, before it gets hot. Six hours standing at a barbecue. And some of you are working Monday, because restaurants and hospitals and retail don’t close for it.

That’s who this weekend is actually for.

We have an opening at the shop!
Here’s what’s genuinely great about this industry. The brands are cool. The shoes are cool. The technology is
legitimately interesting and it keeps changing. And figuring out what is actually going to work for the person standing in front of you is an endless game. You get to be passionate about all of it for a living, and not many jobs are like that.

So what we’re looking for is pretty simple. Work ethic and energy, and a real interest in the sport, the industry, and the people in it. Everything can be learned once you come onboard.

The rest of the job is connection. Knowing the regulars, meeting the new person exactly where they are, and sending everybody back out the door moving better than they came in, whatever moving better looks like for them.
