🚨 FACILITY CLOSED TODAY 🚨

Due to the Burnout Nationals event taking place directly in front of On Deck Athletics, we have made the decision to close the facility for the day in the best interest of our athletes and staff.

With the significant congestion surrounding the facility, along with the smoke from the tire burnouts, we do not feel we can safely and effectively manage normal operations, lessons, classes, rentals and other scheduled activities today.

Unfortunately, this means all On Deck Athletics operations will be closed for the remainder of the day.

We will be back open tomorrow once the Burnout Nationals event has concluded and normal access to the facility has resumed.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s understanding!

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR TONIGHT 🚨

Due to Burnout Nationals setup directly outside On Deck and limited access to our normal parking/entrances, Friday Night Open Cage – Softball is CANCELED tonight (9/11).

🏋️ SPORTS PERFORMANCE IS STILL ON
• HS: 3–4 PM
• MS: 4–5 PM
• Youth: 5–6 PM
• In-Season: 6–7 PM

⚾🥎 All scheduled private lessons will run as normal.

PARKING: Please park behind On Deck near the loading docks and enter through the open side door. Our normal parking lots/entrances are unavailable.

Friday Night Open Cage will return next Friday!

Please join us in welcoming Pitching Coach, Matt Chase to On Deck Athletics!

A Queensbury High School graduate, Matt Chase joins On Deck Athletics after an accomplished collegiate playing career. Matt pitched for four years at Ithaca College before completing his master’s year at RIT. During his collegiate career, he was a 2x All-Liberty League selection, 2023 Liberty League Tournament MVP, 3x Liberty League Pitcher of the Week, and helped his teams capture Liberty League and Regional Championships in 2023 and 2024.

Matt also brings championship coaching experience, serving as a JV/Assistant Varsity Coach at Saratoga during their 2024 State Championship season and 2024 and 2025 Section II Championship runs.

Introducing On Deck Athletics newest coach, Noah Edwards!

Coach Noah Edwards is a 2018 Queensbury High School graduate and New York State Baseball Champion, earning NYS Tournament MVP honors during the championship run. Following high school, Noah completed a post-graduate year at TCS before committing to SUNY Sullivan, where he continued his baseball career at the collegiate level.

Coaching has always been one of Noah’s greatest passions. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Queensbury Varsity Baseball while also coaching within the Queensbury football and basketball programs. Known for his energy, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with young athletes, Noah brings passion and purpose to every training session.

A former catcher and pitcher, Coach Edwards specializes in catching, hitting, and pitching instruction at On Deck Athletics, helping athletes develop their skills, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.
