Another busy day for cross country as they traveled to Galesbug this morning. Quincy won the Boys Varsity and Overall team titles, and came away with tons of individual hardware. 🏆

What a day for the QJHS Comets at the Raider Classic! 🏆 🥇

Madison Ertel and Luke Bakalyar both captured individual championships in their respective races, while the QJHS girls and boys teams both took 1st place out of 13 teams!

Lots of individual hardware earned as well, including medal finishes from Sara Schnack, Kendal Jennings, Emily Casillas, Audra Blackburn, Haven Warner, Ellie Fleer, Payten Williamson, and Sylvia Van Hove. The boys team medalists were Jay Bordewick, Lincoln Steinkamp, Jayden Brown, Kayleb McCoy, Fox Peters, and Xander Dickhut.

A phenomenal day of racing for the QJHS Comets! 💙💛

They competed with heart, determination, and confidence against 60 other schools from around Illinois at Parkside Jr. High in Normal.

Aside from some outstanding team finishes, we had 3 medalists!
