This course will be the last for this year. Hunting season is right around the corner. I have started a new career as the Director of Security and Facilites at Mark Twain Casino.

In 2021 my Dad passed away due to complications from esophagus cancer. This was the same time that Biden made the vax mandate for all federal employees. Sarah and I made the decision for me to retire rather then try to fight with the government. We opened the paintball field in 2022. I did some part time work here and there with no plan to go back to full time. But work is what it is and I figured if I’m going to work I might as well being doing what I am experienced in.

The casino made an offer that I couldn’t refuse with an opportunity that I couldnt turn down.

This is career number 4 and hopefully this will be the one that takes me to the finish line. There are plenty of challenges and I really enjoy it. 14,000 sqft floating casino. Just can’t keep an old Marine off a boat!

This is Matt with Great River Fi****ms Training. I will conduct one final IL CCL renewal course on Saturday September 21st 8am to noon.

We will run the full course earlier in the week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evening 5:00pm to 9:00 pm if there is interest.

Shooters will need:
- 30-50 rounds of factory ammo
- eye protection
- ear protection
- pistol
- holster if possible
- IL drivers license
- IL CCL/FOID card
- appropriate attire for an outdoor shooting range
- $50 cash or check

Great River Fi****ms Training LLC will conduct an Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal course Monday August 12th from 5pm to 8pm.

Training will be at:

We are on Highway 6

Turn at the sign for Great River Paintball.

You will need eye and ear protector. Do not show up with out those two items.

30-50 rounds of ammo.

Your pistol with extra magazines and a holster if you have one.

Appropriate attire and footwear to shoot at an outdoor range.

Your IL drivers license and CCL.

It’s getting to be that time again!

Time to burn up or cook a whole hog! We tried and it didn’t go so well for Kevin Bacon last year so we are going to give it another shot this year on Saturday July 6th.

Shenanigans will begin around noon. Paintball, Gellyball for the kids and fireworks!

These dates are for 4:30pm to 9pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

***RANGE and RENEWAL****
8am to noon on Saturday's for the range and renewal shooters.
