This past weekend Keith and I were able to snag a 3rd place finish in the JC Outdoors tournament on tawakoni with 22.55lbs. I’m not sure how many miles we reeled our swim jig but it was a LoT but thankfully when I have the Lew's rod n reel in my hand with a Strike King Lure Company bait it is all effortless! Our big fish did come on a bluegill color thundercricket but all the rest were on the new 1/4 ounce strike king tungsten swim jig. Top quality products makes life so much easier!

This past weekend my wife n I slid on over to lake tawakoni n fished a JC Outdoors tournament. It was a fun day of fishing putting the Lew's rods and Strike King Lure Company thunder cricket to work! We cracked 23.50lbs that was good enough for 2nd place finish.

Spring is just a few short weeks away and I cannot wait!! Now that the freeze has come and gone (for now) the weather is going to be beautiful n the fishing will be awesome as they push up on beds! It’s time to put the Lew's rods and Strike King Lure Company products to work!

I just had tomorrow (December 13th) come available if yall are wanting to put some meat in the freezer for the winter. Fishing has been absolutely awesome and it’s so fun reeling them in with the Lew's rod n reels especially when they’re spooled up with strikekinglurecompany tour grade braid!

The weather is starting to cool off n the fishing is warming up! Here are a few pictures of a couple afternoons this past week. I’ve been catching fish deep n shallow. The Strike King Lure Company 10” Zeus worm has been great for me on a regular tx rig! Also mixing it up n catching some shallow fish on a swim jig n frog. As always, all my strike king baits are paired up with the Lew's rods, either the custom lite or the new LFS series! Both of these rods feel great in the hand n very comfortable to fish with throughout the day. With the sealy tournament coming soon I have some days available in September if yall want to come out just give me a call or text 903-474-4990.

It’s been a great summer on lake fork! Here is just a couple pictures of a few trips out with my wife. The Strike King Lure Company Zeus worm is an absolute beast! We’ve been throwing it on a Lew's 7’4” heavy custom lite rod and also the Lews LFS series rod. My go to rod for a big worm is the LFS 7’6” heavy. It’s really lite in the hand and well balanced. If yall haven’t put your hands on them yet, then you should!
I have a few days available from now til July 30th. Then my next opening is August 7th.

I just had two days come available this week if you’re wanting to get out on the water just give me a call!
The last week I’ve been mixing it up shallow and deep, been catching alot of fish up shallow on the strikekinglurecompany swim jig. Out deep the 10” Zeus worm and jig has been the best for me.
As always I have them paired up on Lew's customs lite or lfs rod with lews reels! If y’all haven’t fished lews and strikeking products then you’re missing out!
