I love this Cepe Myrtle! Such vibrant color! Such a show off!

Gwen Murphy and Time Turner aka " Conner" have come so far in such a short period. This season they kicked around their first Training level events and have been learning the level. Conner has been growing in bravery and polishing his skills in the sandbox. Last weekend all the hard work has come together for them to place 2nd at War Horse Series! Best dressage score yet and double clear!
Incredibly proud of this pair and their accomplishments!

When your students come back acting like the sky fell… and then casually drop TWO blue ribbons.

This morning, I sent Kelsey Rogers with Xena and Gwen Murphy with Conner off to their show. This afternoon, they came back playing me like, “Oh no, it was terrible, everything went wrong!” … only for me to find out:

🏆 Kelsey & Xena: Laid down a jaw-dropping 18.7 dressage score, cruised a clean jump round, and walked away with 1st place in their division.

🏆 Gwen & Conner: Took their very first Training Level combined test like pros! Conner scored a solid 30.0 in dressage, looked incredible in jumping, and also snagged 1st place.

Could not be prouder of these two—hard work, dedication, and a dash of dramatic flair clearly pay off.

Why are horses a release for people?

Horses are a release for people because they strip life back to its simplest, most honest form.
In a world full of noise, emails, deadlines, expectations, horses remind us that real communication isn’t about words. It’s about presence. It’s about energy, intention, awareness.

When you’re with a horse, your words mean nothing, but your actions, your body language, your energy? That’s everything. You can’t fake confidence with a horse. You can’t lie with your posture. You can’t manipulate with charm or excuses. Horses reflect back exactly who you are in that moment, your fear, your calm, your frustration, your peace.

That’s why working with horses is 90% self-reflection. They force you to get quiet. To slow down. To pay attention not only to them, but to yourself. Your breathing, your posture, your thoughts. They draw you out of your head and into your body, into the present.

It takes us back to a time when survival, connection, and trust weren’t built on promises or conversations. They were built on consistency, energy, and respect. Horses remind us how to just be, without the layers of complication life piles on.

That’s why so many people find healing with them. They don’t care about your job, your past, your social status. They care about your energy in this moment, and nothing feels more freeing than being seen for your truest self, without judgment, without words.

🌟 A Tribute to the Unsung Heroes of the Equine World 🌟

Behind every successful rider is an incredible support system, and today we want to shine the spotlight on the husbands and significant others who stand by us through every stride. 🐴💖

From early mornings and late nights to hauling trailers, fixing fences, and cheering us on at shows, these amazing men are the glue that holds it all together. They celebrate our victories, comfort us through setbacks, and never hesitate to go the extra mile—literally and figuratively!

To the three remarkable men pictured here (and to all the others out there): your patience, encouragement, and love don’t go unnoticed. You are more than just supporters; you are part of the journey and the heart of this incredible equestrian family.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for everything you do! 💪❤️🐎
