Who is ready for a Bream Tournament?
A few local fishermen and companies are coming together to raise some money for an amazing cause, THE TOM SLAPPE 2026 Scholarship! Mr Slappe was a huge part of our local fishing community! We are having this event to do some fundraising for this great cause his family has created in his honor, and to honor someone who truly loved his fishing community.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE TOM SLAPPE FOUNDATION! VIA Patricia Slappe
Event Details:
Fish must be caught from the Cape Fear River
Rod and Reel Tournament- must be caught on a pole
10 Fish weigh In - alive fish only
$20 per boat - All money will be donated to The TOM SLAPPE FOUNDATION
7am Blast Off - Weigh In 3pm Deep Creek Outfitters NC
Bragging Rights Event - Donated Prizes will be given out!
