We were also lucky enough to witness the presentation of the Nic Parker Award, created to recognize everything Nic Parker has done for NC USAFL footy. While we miss seeing Nic tearing it up on the field, we're glad he'll continue to be part of the game from the sidelines—and now through this award.

Congrats again to Henry, the first-ever winner of the award. He put together an absolute ripper of a game.

The sun was blazing, the Tiger Army supporters were out in full force, the meat pies were hot, and our players came ready to WIN... and win we did!

A huge well done to Jack and Carter, who absolutely crushed it in their first games. Fantastic effort from both of you!

Meet Clifton — better known around the club as Cliff!

Cliff first discovered footy on TV at the start of the new millennium, which lead him to find his way to the Tiger Army.

His love for the game inspired him to convince his teenage son, Will, to pull on the boots and give footy a crack. (We can’t wait to see you back out for a game soon, Will!)

We love seeing Cliff on the sidelines each week and are incredibly grateful for his decades of support and passion for the club. Thanks for being such an important part of the Tiger Army, Cliff!

Who doesn’t love a good unboxing?! 📦🐯

Mike — our numbers guy and part-time fashion curator — has been busy counting out the fresh shipment of training singlets. If you hear your size, congratulations: you’ve officially been selected by the footy gods for the Tiger Army.

All you have to do is show up next Wednesday at 6pm at Forest Hills Park in Durham. We’ll teach you how to play AFL, and somehow have you running around in a game by Saturday.
