I am headed for the beach this weekend, less than 48 hours to book your 3 week AB Challenge! We begin on Monday + I can’t wait to start. 💥⁣



I have had a blast pre-recording all of the FUN core strength exercises. ⁣

Here are some answers to your questions I have been receiving: ⁣

 ⁣
Q: Can I take part in this if I don't live in the area?⁣
A: Absolutely! All videos are sent to you via email so anyone can sign up for Abs22.⁣

Q: How long are the pre recored videos?⁣
A: Each video is between 10-15 minutes. We have a different exercises every day. I am with you every step of the way!⁣
 ⁣
Q: What if I don't want to do the video's when you send them at 12pm?⁣
A: No problem, you schedule to complete them on your own time that day and you have me to hold you accountable!⁣
 ⁣
Q: Do I need any equipment?⁣
A: Just a mat!  It's helpful if you have a set of light dumbbells to use as an option.⁣
 ⁣
Q: What if I think I can't do the exercises?⁣
A:  No sweat!  We are all at different levels and on different journeys in fitness.  I pride myself in offering modifications- exercise is for everyone!⁣
 ⁣
Q: Are there any days we don't move?⁣
A: NO, this is a 3 week Challenge! We consistently work our abs every day for 22 days. ⁣

Q: When do we begin?⁣
A: Monday, June 7th-June 28th. Special BONUS: a free Move & Mimosa class at Wye Hill Saturday at 10:30am (June 12, 19, or 26). ⁣

Q: Why did you create ABS22?⁣
A: I wanted to create a fun 22 day challenge to keep us moving physically and mentally targeting your abs. I want to help people create healthy habits.  I wanted to offer fun surprise videos to your inbox daily for you to enjoy and notice a difference in your abdominal strength that will impact the rest of your day.⁣

So, The fun Mash-up class (Yoga, Barre, Cardio HIIT/kickboxing) that I was going to teach yesterday will be moved to:⁣

I just listened to .murphy podcast featuring .schauer (love to you both ❤️) and it really made me miss taking Kathleen’s Sculpt class at Core Power. ⁣


I will always cherish the days:⁣

Living in Cameron Village, walking (really taking an elevator) to Flywheel to teach, then walking to CorePower to take class. ⁣

I would have NEVER guessed I would ever leave my job….⁣


Next week will mark exactly one year from finding the courage to leave my full-time school teacher job and jump into the world of entrepreneurship. And wow, what a ride it has been.⁣



I am grateful that I was able to dig deep and not let the fear of regret get in the way- Fear of not making it, fear of making the wrong choice, and fear of losing my way.⁣



I am here to tell you my friends that I am no where where I want to be yet, but I am so much closer to my dream life.⁣


I have been able to create my own community and fitness classes with Brooks Fitness Method and proudly have accounts with multiple businesses + solopreneurs to help with their marketing and branding.⁣



You can truly craft your own life and what you want to do. Is it a lot of work? You bet. But, it is SO worth it.⁣


I am honored to help others in my “multipassionate” job:⁣

Feel like you wait to post a video or picture until it’s perfect on social media……..then never do it?

I have done it too.

What I tell my social media clients (that I help maintain their IG account, create copy, organize email newsletters, and take monthly photo’s for their for content)

is….

Post the C work. If you filmed a video of yourself that is maybe a C+ don’t wait until it’s an A. If you wait until it’s an A+ piece of work, well……..you might be waiting and waiting……..and it never gets done.

Then the launch you put together doesn’t get posted, you don’t get to meet the awesome clients that were going to sign up for your class or buy your product, and you are back at square one.

So my friends, Post it! Perfection is out ✖️and getting it done is in.✔️

I’ll admit it: I’m guilty as charged. ⁣


I frequently indulge in chi tea lattes (extra hot) and love a crisp (big) glass of white wine, but my real guilty pleasure is helping women find their perfect workout & fitness tribe. ⁣


Seriously, how could you NOT get motivated by quality results that last while having fun reaching your goals? ⁣


It definitely fuels all of my hard work and it’s totally worth it. Curious and want to know more? Comment below and I’ll answer!⁣
