Out of 16 HS teams the Vipers finished 2nd overall going 3-1 and earning a red bracket birth losing the championship to an older tough Cardinals team. Congrats to these girls on another fine showing!!

Tier One is excited to announce the Tier One Rebellion-Wall 16U team (formerly known as Carolina Vipers), based out of Johnston County, will be having open tryouts August 13th from 11am-1pm.

Tryouts will take place at the Clayton High School softball field located at 600 S. Fayetteville St. in Clayton, NC.

Tier One Rebellion – “Mission Driven”

The Tier One Rebellion is a product of Tier One Fastpitch’s Owner, USA Softball NC’s Junior Olympic Commissioner, and former Barton College assistant coach Mike Van Horn.

The Rebellion’s mission is to simply build better athletes and help them prepare physically, emotionally, and mentally for future opportunities. This specific team (formerly known as the Carolina Vipers) will play regional showcases along with a mixture of competitive elimination tournaments under the direction of head coach Keith Wall. Those interested in attending tryouts should have a desire to play at the collegiate level, a team first mentality, be self-driven, and must be willing to be coached and pushed beyond their comfort zone.

We expect to be announcing tryout information for our 18U team within the next week as well as another 16U team and a newly forming 12U team.
