General information
We are involved in a variety of actives over the summer and throughout the year.
The Youth and Family Services Section is made up of one Sergeant, two DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Officers, three Youth and Services Officers, an Outreach Coordinator, five Mentors, and 11 Crossing Guards.
Some of our programs include: Southeast Raleigh Baseball League, Charm School I and II, Junior Police Academy, Dance Camp, Soccer Camp, and the Explorer Program.
We are fortunate enough to collaborate with different entities in the city such as Parks and Recreation, YMCA, Girls Club, Boys Club for additional programs.
We have Mentors located at the following Community Centers: Tarboro Road, Chavis Heights, Green Road, Roberts Park, and Sanderford Road.
