NC State University Reedy Creek Equine Farm

Meet 'Cuervo' our fifth and final foal of the season! This boy is by our resident cow horse bred teaching stallion Okiedoodledoo and out of Homemade Wine (TB mare)! This guy is a staff and student favorite because of how much we all love his sire...and who knows maybe he will find his way to the ranch pen one day!

Graduation season is upon us and this one is bittersweet for sure! We have 6 students in total graduating this semester...all of them will be missed at Reedy Creek more than they know. But it is so exciting to see what these ladies will do as they enter different areas of the equine industry! Congratulations to all of our graduates! Go Pack!

We have another filly at Reedy Creek...meet Sangria! She is by Juan Mas Tiempo and out of the mare Who Whiz A Star. This little filly has a bright future in the APHA and ranch horse events!

Coming in 2027...Castle USA Black Knight X Alpine's Liberatio (Westfalen mare)...this foal will be a fancy sport horse that will be double registered as a half welsh and german sport pony!

We can't get enough of 'Daiquiri'! She is by The Lopin Machine and out of the mare Swipe Rite X Only in the Moonlite. And check out that white marking on her right hind...she will also be a full double AQHA/APHA!

'Remi' is her recip mama, and she has been the best mom...we are forever thankful for her!

'Barnes' had his first big outing to Club Day hosted by the Animal Science Club at North Carolina State University at the beef unit a couple weeks ago! He trailered like a pro, settled right in, and had no issues hanging out with the cows, goats, and sheep! He even got to do a demo showmanship pattern for the students competing in the final round. He is ready to go and be your next show horse!
