Spotlight **************** Name: Tom Pronouns: he/him Playing Position: Whatever coach determines I’m best at Seasons of Kickball: 2014-2018 (Chicago) Fun Fact: I trained to be a pilot and have flown solo for 6 hours. I’m still working on a private pilot’s license. Bio: I hail from Chicago and moved to Cary in May for my job. My group of friends started off playing Stonewall kickball, but moved to bocce more recently. We attended two nationals for bocce (NOLA and Raleigh) and won one. Graduated from NCSU with degree in Social Work. AGM for Hyatt Place in Durham. Artist specializing in silhouette/line art with a kink oriented vein. Spotlight **************** Name: Adán Pronouns: He/him Seasons of kickball: 5 Fun fact: I love water sports such as parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming; however, one thing I cannot do right is diving. I’ll end up with a belly flop so I rather do a cannonball. Bio: I am a dad to an awesome little Pom. His name is Dante and he is 17 years old. Despite of his age, he is still hyper and loves going on walks at the park. I also love traveling, specially to the Caribbean islands where I can relax by the beach with a good cocktail in hand. And I typically go by myself, intentionally 🙂 Bio: I moved to Raleigh in 2013 from Wilmington to start an internship at NC State but am originally from Atlanta. I have 2 chihuahuas, a saltwater aquarium, and way too many plants. I am also an abstract painter. For my day job, I work as a therapist in mental health. Her Irish partner earned major boyfriend points recently by scoring 2 tickets to see Taylor Swift in Portugal next year. Bio: Originally from Tennessee, Ashley moved to Raleigh in early 2022 with her pup Lucy. Through volunteering at a Place at the Table, she was introduced to Stonewall. She loves the people and community Stonewall has created and is so happy to be a part of it. When she isn’t playing sports with Stonewall, Ashley is the Raleigh chapter director of the Women’s Social Club and active in local politics often speaking up at City Council meetings.
