A big shout out to our hermana Maria Trujillo () from the Epsilon Theta Chapter, Line 14 Fall 2024, whose major is Applied Atmospheric Science at East Carolina University. She will be working towards getting her PHD in meteorology.

Don ‘Big Weather’ Schwenneker is the chief meteorologist that Maria used to watch every morning as a child. She meet him when she was younger and he gave her the path to take for schooling!

We’re so excited for your journey and potentially working with the person you’ve looked up to in the realm of Atmospheric Science !

We wanted to highlight that on September 21st 2024 our chapters from across the area came together for the annual in Raleigh, NC. St Jude’s being Lambda Theta Alpha’s National Philanthropy, we are continuously raising awareness and supporting the mission of St Jude’s all year round!
