Muscle growth isn’t magic. It’s a bunch of controlled reps, progressive overload and adequate recovery.

Train with intention. Challenge the muscle.

You don’t need 47 exercises, a secret supplement stack, or a workout routine written on an ancient scroll. You need good technique, consistent effort, and a plan you can actually stick to.

Train smarter. Build muscle. Repeat.

Give us a follow for evidence-based hypertrophy training, practical fitness tips, and the occasional questionable analogy.

Strong muscles are great, but flexible ones keep you moving. Don’t skip the stretch; it’s where strength meets longevity 💪 🧠

Repetition is the mother of skill as they say! Cutting weight is hard enough. Don’t make it more difficult on yourself.

🧠 Minimize your food choices to minimize your decision fatigue.

🧠 Consistency > perfection

YoungCows. Aka... Calves

1. Control your feet
As sets get hard, feet like to roll out to the sides.
That reduces calf stimulus and increases foot pain. A double loss.
Lower the weight if needed and keep the pressure straight through the ball of the foot.
2. Short rest periods
These animals recover fast. 10 to 60 seconds is plenty.
3. Moderate to high reps
4. Train them early
Calves are quick, low fatigue, and easy to knock out.
Train them first instead of crawling over to the machine an hour into your workout
5. Control the eccentric
Lower the weight slowly.
Milk it like the utters of a young cow.
No bounce bounce.
No wobble wobble.
No shakey shakey.
6. Pause the end ranges
Not mandatory, but very effective.

Control. Control. Control.

It’s not just lifting the weight up and down.

You don’t need to rush, especially if your goal is to gain muscle. Sometimes, especially during hypertrophy training, the most productive part of a rep is where you have to fight for control.

Stop chasing the weight and start owning the movement.

This isn’t meant to be a perfect day of eating. There’s no magic meal plan, no living on plain chicken and broccoli, and no avoiding foods I enjoy just because they don’t fit into some imaginary “clean eating” rulebook.

I do my best to keep my nutrition pretty simple. Some meals vary day to day, but, most of these ai can eat all day everyday because of how delicious they are!

• Lean meats
• Tasty carbs
• Fruits and veggies
• Foods I genuinely enjoy
• Enough flexibility to make it sustainable

Nutrition should support your life, not take it over.

The goal isn’t to eat perfectly, but it’s to create a way of eating that supports your goals and still works in real life.

We’ll hit the supplement train next 💪
