Over time, the person you used to be — or the person you were capable of becoming — can start to feel further and further away.

But that person is not gone.

They are just buried under the routine.

Sometimes that version of you has been quiet for so long that starting again feels intimidating. But it is not too late. You are not too old, too out of shape, or too far gone. You are not alone. You just need the right environment.

You need a room that challenges you, supports you, and reminds you what you are capable of becoming.

You need a tribe that sees your potential before you fully believe in it yourself. You need to surround yourself with people chasing better habits, sharper focus, and a higher standard — because you become who you surround yourself with.

That is what Gracie Raleigh is built for.

We provide the training, the structure, the accountability, and the community to help you start showing up for yourself again.

This is your sign.

Snap out of it.

Your comeback starts now.

We're excited to have Gracie Raleigh students competing at on July 11 and on July 25. Whether it's your first tournament or your fiftieth, preparation matters.

Just like in training, the more intentional you are, the more you can account for and adjust the variables. Having a game plan, packing your gear the night before, eating well, getting enough sleep, and arriving early all help you perform your best.

One of the biggest benefits of having a system is that it gives you something familiar to fall back on. Competition nerves never completely disappear, but a consistent routine helps quiet the noise. Instead of wondering what you forgot or what you should be doing next, you can trust your preparation and focus on the match in front of you. Over time, competing becomes less intimidating because your routine stays the same, even when the environment changes.

If every tournament feels chaotic, it's difficult to know what actually affected your performance. But when your preparation is consistent, every competition becomes an opportunity to learn. You can identify what worked, what didn't, and make meaningful improvements for next time.

The difference between success and luck is that one can be repeated. Luck is difficult to recreate. A good process isn't. Build habits you can rely on, and every tournament becomes another step forward.

Not everyone needs to compete in a tournament. But everyone can compete against the person they were yesterday. If you're ready to grow alongside an incredible team, come train with us. Together we'll become tougher, stronger, more resilient, and a little better every day. Your first class is free. 🥋❤️🖤

Changes coming to the schedule this July.

We’re consolidating our Tuesday and Thursday 6:10 PM and 7:20 PM classes into one convenient time slot.

We’re testing this out as a trial run to see how the team likes the flow before making it official. Here is the new setup:

TUESDAY & THURSDAY | 6:20 PM • Combined All-Levels Adults + Teens (13–15) • 6:20–7:05 PM Technique, followed by Sparring • Attire: GI (We may alternate Gi/No-Gi down the road, but we're starting in the Gi).

WEDNESDAY | 7:20 PM • The 7:20 PM slot is shifting to a dedicated NO-GI class right after Muay Thai.

This will take effect July 1st. As always students are welcome and encouraged to get no gi rounds during sparring after any Gi class.

2-0 🥇
mozingo 3-1 🥈and a 🟣

The big improvement doesn’t come from those moments in competition. It comes from the preparation before, and the reflection after.

For 14 years, we’ve worked hard to build more than just a gym. We’ve built a community full of people who push each other, support each other, and show up day after day trying to get a little better.

Our 6AM crew is a perfect example of that. Early mornings, hard rounds, good attitudes, and teammates who genuinely want to help each other grow.

Whether your goal is self defense, competition, fitness, confidence, or just finding something challenging and positive before work, there’s a place for you here.

High level instruction.
Welcoming community.
No ego.
Just people putting in the work together.

Come see why people have trusted Gracie Raleigh for over 14 years. Your first class is on us. 🥋🔥
