Oakwood Dog Park
Located "Under the Oaks" in historic Oakwood w/ separate parks for large & small/disabled dogs. The park is well-kept by volunteers. Please use this area wisely.
Q: Why are there two fenced off areas? A: These two areas are aptly named the "Small Dog Park" and the "Big Dog Park." The "Big Dog Park" is for all dogs, regardless of size. However, we do ask that if it is crowded or if your small dog is skittish around larger dogs, to please take your dog into the "Small Dog Park." The "Small Dog Park" is for smaller dogs, as well as those who are elderly or

Dip-N-Dots is an extremely charming, bubbly girl! Picked up as a stray, she has adjusted quickly to home life and has proven to be a fast learner. She does very well in her crate and settles in without a peep and without any accidents, and is making great progress in her housetraining outside of the crate. Dip-N-Dots is mastering the command Sit and her leash-walking skills. Dip-N-Dots gets along well with other dogs as long as she is given a proper introduction. And she has a blast playing with her friends! So far she is doing well around cats. Dip-N-Dots has not met a person that she didn't like! She will happily tag along with you on outings and loves being "oohed" and "aahed" over by people admiring her.
Dip-N-Dots loves to play with her toys and is the ultimate snuggle-bug in bed. Her favorite things are exploring new places, licking peanut butter out of her Kong, and spending time with her foster family.
